All dogs over seven months of age must be licensed annually by the Township. Licenses must be renewed each year by January 31. License Applications must be accompanied by a rabies certificate which does not expire before November 1 of the licensing year. Annual license fees are $12 for a spayed/neutered dog and $15 for others (a spay/neuter certificate must be presented for the lower rate). A late fee of $5 per month is assessed for dogs licensed after January 31.
If you have an unlicensed dog that is at least seven months old, please contact the Township Clerk at 973-823-7020. If you fail to license your dog, you could receive a summons.
