In 1999
the Township of Hardyston and the Borough of Franklin established
a joint zoning department to review zoning permit applications
and to enforce zoning standards in the two communities. All
new construction requires a zoning permit prior to the issuance
of a building permit. Many building renovations also require
a zoning permit. Please contact the zoning officer while planning
your project to determine if a zoning permit is required.
