In accordance with the State of New Jersey Municipal Land Use Law, upon an applicant’s payment of fees (Link CH 185 Code), the seven member Zoning Board of Adjustment, reviews requests for relief from the strict application of the Township Zoning Ordinance (Link CH. 185 Code), hears appeals of the zoning officer’s decisions, and reviews requests for interpretation of the ordinances. The Zoning Board also provides the Township Council with input on zoning ordinances and land use matters.

Applications are available through the Hardyston Township Land Use Department.

In compliance with the Open Public Meetings Act, the following is a list of the monthly meetings of the Hardyston Township Zoning Board of Adjustment. The Board will meet at 7:30 p.m. on the first Thursday of every month, at the Hardyston Township Municipal Building and Police Station Complex, 149 Wheatsworth Road, Suite A, Hardyston, New Jersey 07419.

The reorganization meeting for 2016 will be held on January 5, 2017 at 7:15 p.m. The regular meeting of the Hardyston Township Zoning Board for the month of January will be held on January 7, 2016 at 7:30 p.m., following the reorganization meeting.

Any physically or mentally challenged resident that may need special accommodations to attend any of the following meetings shall contact the Clerk’s office seven (7) days prior to any advertised meeting.
