MINUTES OF THE HARDYSTON TOWNSHIP COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING HELD ON JULY 25, 2000.

The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Mayor Ross with the opening statement that the meeting had been duly advertised and met all the requirements of the Sunshine Law. Also present were: Councilwoman Hamilton, Councilman Lasinski, Councilman Worflar, Councilman Kievit, and Manager John Eskilson.

DISCUSSION ITEMS: Review of Bids - Concession/Restroom

RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR CONCESSION/RESTROOM FACILITIES IN THE AMOUNT OF $162,000 TO T.M. BRENNAN, INC. OF MCAFEE, N.J.

WHEREAS, bids for the Concession/Restroom were advertised according to law in the New Jersey Herald; and

WHEREAS, bids for said purchase were opened at the Hardyston Township Municipal Building at 11:00 a.m. on Monday June 24, 2000; and

WHEREAS, T.M. Brennan, Inc. of McAfee, N.J. submitted the low bid including base bid plus Alternate Bid A as follows: $162,000; and

WHEREAS, bids have been reviewed by the Project Engineer and the Township Attorney; and

WHEREAS, the Township Treasurer has certified that adequate funds exist in the 2000 Municipal Budget for the award of bid including base bid plus Alternate A to T.M. Brennan, Inc. of McAfee, N.J.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Hardyston that it hereby awards the bid for the Concession/Restroom Facilities including Alternate A - Electrical Fixtures in the amount of $162,000 to T.M. Brennan, Inc. of Mcafee, N.J.

A motion was made by Lasinski to approve the resolution as presented, seconded by Worflar. All in favor with Ross abstaining. Motion carried.

EXECUTIVE SESSION: None

ADJOURN: A motion was made by Kievit to adjourn, seconded by Hamilton. All in favor. Motion carried.
